Great to see Reinhard Lakomy posted here - There are two of my favourite German electronic albums of the eighties, though they are not as well known as they should be, simply because they originated on the east side of Germany, back in days before re-unification I guess.

For anyone new to Soviet/Eastern Bloc period electronic music - there are a whole bunch of compilations called 'Looking East' which showcases the Eastern Bloc period of electronic music making from various Central/Eastern European countries and artists. Of course, there are the two Soviet era electronic giants - Eduard Artemiev, who is perhaps best known for the soundtrack of the original film version of Solaris - and Aleksandr Rybnikov - household names in Russia but not so well known in the English speaking world, the latter composed everything from children's music to weird electronica and all of it is wonderful.
